Recognising the need for a reasonably priced quality range of composite sea kayaks here in Australia, we went out and did some serious investigating.
What we have come up with is the Scorpio Elite series, a series of three performance composite sea kayaks plus one composite double, all nicely finished but at ridiculously competitive prices.

The Elite 500 high volume sea kayak features a large cockpit for ease of access, even for larger paddlers and high deck so that your legs are comfortable while paddling and so to dispel excess chop. Large flush hatches fore and aft allow for storing heaps of gear while resulting in almost no windage. Convenient day hatch behind the seat allows for storage of those smaller must-haves and world renowned SmartTrack pedal system means super ease of use in steering.
Scorpio Elite 540 Sea Kayak (5.4m x 62cm x 24kg) **** ONLY ONE LEFT (YELLOW) ***
The Elite 540 is a the largest of the Elite series, providing a long fast ride even in tough conditions. Large hatches fore and aft allow for storing heaps of gear and the deep keel means beautiful tracking. World renowned SmartTrack pedal system means super ease of use in steering.

Construction (all three models)
Deck: 2 layers of cloth plus 1 layer of felt and an extra1mm of high strength mat.
Hull: 2 layers of felt mat plus 1 layer of cloth.
Inside seam: resin + mat + rubber strip.
Outside seam: rubber strip.
