Destiny is a large original abstract painting on canvas.
It has been created locally in Adelaide.
I have used acrylic paint over a texture medium. Resulting in a work which is very heavily textured - with some areas built up to about a centimetre.
Perfect for art lovers who love the added interest and impact texture provides.
Dimensions are 100x100x4cms.
Edges are painted white and it has been signed on one edge.
Warm, pastel colours have mainly been used - with lower metallic highlights of gold and silver emerging in sections. This adds to the character and richness of this original.
Running on a diagonal is the focal point of a broken, textured wide black band. This captures attention and also provides contrast to the softer remaining areas.
Although it is a subtle art work, there is a great deal of variation in texture, tone and graduations of colour in this piece.
Towards the centre of the composition palette knife use has given white sequences of curved lines added visual impact.
This one of a kind, unique abstract would be great in a contemporary home or office space - and would complement furnishings and decor beautifully.
